Oct.1972 : Admitted to the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique after national competition. Civil servant since 1984.

1999 -2006: Elected and nominated (by the two sponsoring organizations : UPMC and CNRS) Head of the Laboratoire de Modélisation en Mécanique (LMM).
